THE SIMMONS
VET TEAM

At Simmons Veterinary Clinic, we are an evidence-based and supportive group that is driven to create a relaxed and kind environment for you and your pet.

Read below to learn more about our staff’s various backgrounds as well as their personal and professional interests.

Chris Simmons, DVM, MBA

Owner, Founder, Veterinarian, he/him

Originally from South Florida, Dr. Chris lives in Decatur with his wife, daughters, and labradoodle. Prior to opening Simmons Veterinary Clinic, he worked as an associate veterinarian in the area and spent a couple of years as a stay-at-home dad while completing an online Masters of Business Administration from the University of Florida.

Growing up, he was entrenched in the veterinary field as his parents owned and operated an entrepreneurial small animal hospital and pet resort. This unique experience imparted a sincere appreciation for the human side of veterinary medicine as well as the importance of creating fun moments for pets and their people.

In creating his vision for Simmons Veterinary Clinic, he developed the following foundational principle: To provide quality veterinary healthcare, we must equitably account for the collective emotional and physical well-being of each pet and person.

Dr. Chris enjoys ultrasonography, complex diagnostic problem solving, and finding creative ways to reduce animal stress at home or elsewhere. Outside of work, he loves exploring the Atlanta food scene and is an avid fan of the Florida Gators and Atlanta United.

Fallon Moliere, DVM

Associate Veterinarian, she/her

Originally from the Chicago suburbs, Dr. Fallon Moliere (aka “Dr. Mo”) has called Decatur home for the past 15 years. She completed her undergraduate studies in biology and chemistry at the University of Illinois (“I-L-L!”), then pursued a research fellowship in chemistry at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) before earning her doctorate in veterinary medicine from the University of Georgia (“Go Dawgs!”).

Dr. Mo finds deep fulfillment in nurturing the human-animal bond, approaching her work with special interests in dentistry, senior care, elective spay and neuter, and diagnosing and treating complex medical cases. Her background spans emergency medicine, high-volume spay/neuter, and general practice.

In her free time, Dr. Mo enjoys exploring Decatur’s restaurant scene, attending concerts with her husband, and taking in the city’s sights alongside their adventurous husky-chihuahua mix, Sierra.

Aubry Meers, DVM

Associate Veterinarian, she/her

Dr. Aubry has deep ties to Atlanta. She grew up immersed in veterinary medicine as her parents owned and operated a specialty and emergency clinic right here in Decatur.

After earning her bachelor’s degree at Georgia State University, Dr. Aubry completed her veterinary doctorate at the University of Georgia and returned “home” to Atlanta where she has practiced small animal family medicine since 2020.

Dr. Aubry cherishes the personal connections she builds with pets and pet parents alike. She approaches every case in the spirit of collaboration and a focus on the pet’s holistic wellbeing. And she has a particular interest in geriatric medicine, helping those old pets maximize their daily comfort and quality of life.

Outside of work, Dr. Aubry enjoys sewing, gardening, and travelling. She has two pitbulls, two cats, and a red-eared slider at home.
