Nope! You can absolutely opt to pay as-you-go. These plans are merely an alternative means to pay for your pet’s healthcare. 

You want the best preventive healthcare plan for your pet with the option to defer upfront expenses and benefit from potential savings along the way! 

Additionally, certain dogs and cats are so fearful and stressed in a veterinary clinic that blood draws and vaccinations may be difficult or unsafe. In these cases, you may not be able to take full advantage of the plan’s benefits.

Nope. These pet health plans are simply a means of predictably spreading out the cost of preventative pet healthcare with some value-adds mixed in. They do not cover the costs of unexpected diagnostics and treatments for your pet. 

Depends on the plan, but many pet health insurance plans cover “wellness” visits. If they do, you’ll likely need to provide your pet insurance company with proof of your plan purchase, alongside the services and products rendered to get coverage

Unfortunately not. These plans cover your pet’s vaccination reminders for a given year, but are not built to support “doubling” up of your annual vaccinations in a given 12-month period. 

Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee we can see your pet right away. While we do hold open appointment slots for sick dogs and cats, we are an appointments-only clinic and do not accept walk-ins. 

Likely! Each plan averages about 10-15% savings compared to paying for each service separately. Plus, you get the benefit of discounted future exams and diagnostics. 

That said, you can opt for a more pared-down, pragmatic wellness approach to preventative healthcare that is less expensive. 

The Add-Ons provide additional discounted services or products that you can “add” to your plan.  They are exclusively available to those pets already on a Simmons Vet Pet Plan. Enroll in-clinic during an appointment or email to request (hi.there@simmons.vet).

Very simple. We calculate the amount you’ve spent (down payment, monthly payments) and the amount you’ve saved (discounts) and compare that against the dollar value of the services and products you’ve received to date. 

Either you will owe us a cancellation fee, or we will owe you a refund/credit on account equal to that difference. 

We understand that these plans may not work out for everyone. And we also understand that life happens. So, we figure the most equitable way to end this type of commitment is simple math.
